Wild Child Therapy Garden CIC
About Wild Child Therapy Garden.
What we do (and why we love it);
At the heart of what we do is simple belief: time spent in nature can make a real difference to mental health and wellbeing. As a registered CIC ( Community Interest Company), everything we offer is designed to benefit people and the wider community.
We run gardening sessions for teens and adults, using the garden as a calm, supportive space to slow down, learn new skills, and reconnect with themselves. these sessions are about much more then planting and weeding - they're about confidence routine, mindfulness and feeling part of something positive.
Alongside this, we support educational courses, working with learners who benefit from hands-on, outdoor experiences. Gardening provides a practical, engaging way to build skills, improve focus, and support emotional wellbeing in a relaxed environment.
We also love opening our doors to everyone. Throughout the year, we run seasonal classes for the wider community from nature based wellbeing sessions to cooking, preserving and crafts. These classes are a chance to learn, connect with others, and enjoy the changing seasons together.
And yes - We sell the produce we grow. Not only does this help support our work as CIC, but it also means the garden gives back in a very real way. Fresh, local, produce grown with care, purpose and community in mind.
Whether you're here to learn, heal, grow, or simply enjoy being outdoors, you're always welcome.
